This modern and eye-catching bridge is placed in the coachparking 'Kanaalkwartier' of Bruges, which was recently upgraded. It connects the Barge square with the entrance of the Minnewater.

The bridge's architecture has an asymetrical style and is bright red. It gives a nice contrast with the place the Barge square is connected to, namely a beautiful, green, idyllic park. Following the park straight on, through the King Albertpark, you end up standing in front of an other red piece of modern architecture, the Concertgebouw. Going through the park, direction centre, you wind up in the historical city centre.
